Ruth is a seasoned real estate veteran and has been in luxury real estate in the Cayman Islands for more than 15 years. Ruth co-founded 1503 Property Group, as the Broker, with her business partner Jill Davison, after 10 years as a sales executive with the Ritz Carlton Grand Cayman and, subsequently with Christies and Provenance Properties and is proud to have been one of the leading sales executives at both the Ritz Carlton and the Kimpton Seafire Residences in Cayman.

Born in Belize to a British father and Belizean mother, travel has always been an integral part of Ruth’s life. Ruth grew up in Belize and Istanbul, Turkey and finished her education at university in the United Kingdom, graduating with a BA Honors in marketing and tourism. After graduation Ruth continued travelling and has been fortunate to have worked in the United Kingdom, France, and Belize before relocating to Cayman in 2003. Ruth speaks fluent Spanish and has a working knowledge of Turkish, and French. She is accustomed to working with local and international clients alike.

Ruth is married to Chris and they have a daughter. When not working hard with her clients in real estate she enjoys traveling, diving, shopping, skiing and spending time with her family watching her daughter ‘s growing passion for fencing.

Nora was born in San Francisco and grew up as an “army brat” around the world from Hawaii to Germany, with many years spent in the southern United States.  Having lived in Cayman now for 15 years, and having received Caymanian Status, Nora understands the unique nature of the island’s economy, society, and real estate market.

As well as professionalism, she brings southern hospitality and charm to the search for the perfect real estate solution.  Having spent many years managing property here in Cayman, Nora is excited to focus on all aspects of the real estate market. As luck would have it, 24 years ago the dive industry brought him to the beautiful Cayman Islands.  

 

Arriving first in Cayman Brac to manage a dive operation Shawn and his wife Jodi made the move to Grand Cayman four years later. They immediately fell in love with the island and all it has to offer and have made it their home. Shawn created a concierge/marine service company with the goal of providing clients with a single point of contact and personalized service excellent.  In 2008 Shawn and Jodi built a clothing boutique from inception to success. Lived experience as a homebuyer and seller has provided Shawn with a unique perspective.  More than three decades of experience in the resort and property management industries and as a successful business owner/operator in the Cayman Islands have prepared Shawn to provide exceptional client centered experience.

Nick grew up in the home counties of England, largely in Hertfordshire. As the son of a property lawyer, and the grandson of a property builder and developer, a career in ‘Property’ seemed the most likely course. Nick’s first forays into real estate sales began in 1998 as a summer intern in a rural agency practice where his love for all things property grew, and led to a decision to follow this career path. Following his A-Levels the 2000’s began as a Junior Negotiator with the same agency at which his internship was completed, during which time knowledge of how the industry operated and many of the necessary skills to flourish within in it were cultivated. Then followed a move to FPDSavills (Savills) in Cambridge, a role as Trainee Surveyor within the highly profitable Residential Development Department, assisting an associate director in the acquisition and disposal of land for development on behalf of developers and landowners within the residential property sectors of East Anglia. The skills garnered at Savills led to an opportunity to move to a boutique property consultancy firm, Russell Associates. Between 2003 and 2008 Nick worked directly under the company director and was dealing with nationwide residential property valuations and appraisals on behalf of one of the largest residential property owners in the UK, as well as identifying and marketing more localised residential development opportunities. During this period a side by side role in the company’s successful rural agency practice evolved, starting out as a negotiator and working his way up to Senior Negotiator and Office Manager, further skills and knowledge of the workings of the industry were developed during this period of professional growth. In 2008 an opportunity arose to move to the Cayman Islands, an opportunity that could not be ignored. A job offer was received from DDL Studio Ltd, a prominent Valuation and Quantity Surveying practice on the islands, working as an assistant Valuation Surveyor within the busy valuation department. The role involved the preparation of Market Valuation appraisals for residential and commercial properties throughout the Cayman Islands. These reports were completed primarily for financing, assessment of value and insurance purposes on behalf of private individuals, local and international banks and insurance companies. Nick was responsible for the preparation of Market Valuation reports for all kinds of property interests ranging from CI$100,000 to in excess of CI$20,000,000, and an in depth knowledge of the Cayman property market subsequently evolved. When a prominent Real Estate Agency came calling in 2014 it was an easy decision for Nick to move back into agency. Armed with a comprehensive understanding of the Cayman market through his time working as a Valuer Nick is able to offer knowledge and sound Real Estate advice to any transaction be it sale or purchase, rental or management. Although clearly passionate about property, outside of work Nick enjoys playing Cricket – in which he has represented the Cayman National team – and trying to better his handicap on the golf course! Nick loves his Cayman lifestyle especially spending time with his wife Kadie, children Seb and Max, and their dog Bentley! A native to the Cayman Islands, Harriet grew up in George Town, Grand Cayman and comes from a family with a long history of Construction, Ship Building, Carpenters & Merchants.  She is a Graduate from The Cayman Islands High School, Dale Carnegie Management & Sylvia Gill Secretarial College.  After completion of her education and spending 18 months with Royal Bank of Canada, she was offered a position on Cayman Airways for the beginning of the Jet Service for the island & in early January 1972, Harriet left for training in Costa Rica, Central America and trained as a Flight Attendant with LACSA Airlines, returning home to be a part of the Inaugural Flights for many years, she resigned from the airline to manage a family owned Duty Free Retail business and eventually purchased the Downtown Store in 1983.  Spending the next 30+ years as Managing Director for the Duty-Free Retail business, she made a decision in 2014 to fulfill her dream and entered the world of Real Estate.

 

Harriet is a former Miss Cayman Islands (1972) who represented the Cayman Islands in Miss Caribbean & Miss Caribbean Tourism pageants.  After completing her year of responsibilities, she became a part of the organizing committee for the Pageant and was responsible for acquiring the Franchise for both Miss World in 1977 and Miss Universe in 1980 for the Cayman Islands to send a representative annually.  Harriet makes no excuses for her love of the islands she calls home and her desire to ensure that everyone she has the pleasure of meeting, is treated with honesty, respect and equality.

Anna-Mari was born in South Africa and lived for eleven years in Dubai, where she worked as a flight attendant for Emirates Airline and high-level, private clients. Through her work in the United Arab Emirates, she discovered the world of real estate and took advantage of Dubai’s development boom to learn more about the industry.

Anna-Mari studied marketing management at the University of South Africa and did a diploma in Public Relations at the University of Cape Town.  Her work has allowed her to build strong relationships both in the Cayman Islands and abroad.  Anna-Mari arrived at 1503 Property Group brokerage due to her desire to help people, her strong marketing background, and her knowledge and appreciation for real estate.
